Restart

How to Restart After Two Weeks Off

Restart rules so disruption doesn’t become a three-month drift.

Field GuideEducational

Disruption is normal. Drift is optional.

Two weeks off — travel, overtime, illness, or a calendar that won — is not a character failure. The failure is treating restart as a chance to make up lost days in one session.

Restart is a written rule, not a mood. It sits next to Full so the system survives an imperfect month.

Action steps

  1. Do not stack missed sessions into the first day back.
  2. Resume conservatively: movement quality first, then the 10-minute Baseline.
  3. Use the 20-Minute Strength Standard until the baseline feels repeatable again.
  4. Review the week once. Then continue. Restart is a checkpoint, not a new identity.

What this is not

Not a punishment block, not a detox, and not a medical return-to-play protocol. If the time off was injury, surgery, or unexplained symptoms, get qualified clearance before you load.
